Location: Western Europe (located close to airport)
Regional Responsibility: Western Europe. Location suitable for 60 tor 80% travel within the region.
Length of contract: Permanent.
The Role
The Connected Care (CC) Solutions Owner plays a crucial role at ensuring the adoption of the Connex platform across Western Europe. Connex is a healthcare data integration platform that connects with Baxter devices to offer a seamless connected workflow experience to the Healthcare professionals (HCP). The candidate develops the go to market strategy for each strategic connected workflows including value proposition, segmentation and targeting, pricing schemes, revenue, and market share tracking system. The candidate identifies the local internal and external partners and set up a governance model to ensure successful implementation of the various connected workflows.
We’re looking for a strategic and agile ‘doer’ to bring the value of connectivity to life for the HCP.
Demonstrated track record with value-based selling is important to succeed in this role.
Key responsibilities
Act as subject matter expert and go to contact person for all matters related to the Connex platform in WEU.
Translate business needs into functional requirements and support prioritization of software developments with the global R&D team.
Engage with key stakeholders to establish value proposition, segmentation, targeting tool, and pricing scheme for the connectivity services, build alignment across WEU, ensure operational readiness (eg. code creation).
Drive local adoption together with local sales manager and country connectivity team, monitor success, get control of the sales cycle and drive alignment of the incentive plan for connected care across WEU.
Coordinate due diligence, down selection and manage contract with external partners when internal solutions do not exist or can be enhanced by such partnership.
Work with the medical team, clinical workflow consultant and CC account manager to identify meaningful patient outcomes (across target countries) and set up plan to generate evidence on those outcomes.
Work with the government affairs team, clinical workflow consultant and CC account manager to identify meaningful organizational outcomes (across target countries) and set up plan to generate evidence on those outcomes.
Work with the European and local Marketing teams to ensure appropriate communication, alignment and collateral marketing material to support the field team.
Anticipate current & future trends in connected care and market environment. Conduct market research, monitor industry and competitors’ activity
Ensure timely and accurate financial and resources forecasting with appropriate and robust business case for any significant initiatives proposed
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget, involving all relevant stakeholders and being accountable for the overall project implementation
Skills and Experience
At least 5 years of broad and seasoned business experience with software or service launch experience and a demonstrated track record of driving consultative selling. Evidence of achieving targets and getting results.
Degree in Business and/or Consulting experience is a plus.
Good knowledge of Country healthcare structures, national healthcare politics, hospital financing, reimbursement policies organization and history.
Good knowledge of software commercial landscape and competition in the healthcare industry; Continuously looks for business intelligence, competitive information to develop business cases.
Ability to swiftly understand logistics, pricing, customer service and supply chain processes and objectives.
Strong project management abilities
Disruptive thinker, looking for Value Creation. Identifies barriers to change and addresses these appropriately.
Analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze significant amounts of diverse information, able to simplify and streamline into recommendations for decision making.
Budgetary knowledge and experience (including P&L).
Works autonomously, self-starter; learns quickly.
Ability to easily translate strategies into operational action plans, and to “get things done” with commitment and support from all stakeholders
A great communicator with customer orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English. Second language in a major WEU market is a plus.
