Your Role at Baxter

THIS IS WHERE you build trust to achieve results..

As the Mid-Atlantic US Front Line Care Regional Manager, reporting to the Area VP of East Sales, you will lead sales region of 7-10 representatives covering both the Acute Care & Primary Care markets. In this dynamic market that continues to see investment and growth, you will develop and execute the regional business plan focused on key accounts and segments, as well as build and leverage channel networks, to drive profitable territory and regional growth.

As an organized self-starter you understand advancing medical technologies and effectively communicate, and present customer value propositions embraced by executive management.

  • Home Base: Baltimore, MD or Washington, DC

  • Territory: Mid-Atlantic- Philadelphia, PA, Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC and Richmond, VA

  • Travel: Up to 75% travel in territory and potentially 1-2 overnights per month

  • Fleet vehicle provided, when available

What you'll be doing

  • Develops and implements strategic sales plans aligned with corporate goals

  • Motivates the team to reach their full potential by creating a culture that fosters teamwork, effective time management, planning, and execution in achieving objectives

  • Identifies and meets with key customers, assisting sales representatives with maintaining and building relationships

  • Effectively develops and maintains a robust and balanced forecast of opportunities while monitoring their progress in an efficient and timely manner.

  • Work closely with a cross-functional team to close large opportunities

  • Coach team members on both deal and skill-based opportunities.

  • Drive corporate connectivity strategy and deliver on our integrated solutions platform.

  • Manage a network of distributors and channel partners throughout the region.

  • Retain a current understanding of the local IDN market and the evolving medical industry landscape.

  • Have a high level of knowledge of the competition.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience as a top-level sales performer in the medical device or healthcare industry

  • 2+ years of leadership experience or experience in our Welch Allyn product line portfolio

  • Demonstrated experience in effectively hiring, developing, and managing the performance sales team

  • Strong background working with IDNs

  • Demonstrated ability to work with and build dealer relationships

  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication and presentation skills

  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software

  • Individuals must live within the current geography or be willing to relocate to it.

  • Familiarity with posted region is strongly desired

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career.  At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.  To that end, this position has a base salary range of $128,000 to $252,000 plus commission. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position.  The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
