Your role at Baxter:
As Engineer II, Quality (CAPA & Complaints) your role is essential to ensuring that Baxter's Quality System Regulation requirements are met, and that the company's products and processes are of the highest quality and safety.

What you’ll be doing:
- Participate and maintain full knowledge of the Operations / Management Review.
- Support the design and development improvement of new product processes and technologies.
- Owner of non-conformance investigation and audits items as applicable.
- Evaluate failure modes (PFMEA) related with process, product and machines.
- Assure Good Documentation Practice (GDP) and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles are used in the process/documents handle in the areas under responsibility.
- Analyzed areas indicators and submit them to management for review and monthly Process Data Review in the corresponding quality boards to promote and strengthen the plant processes.
- Approve related local specifications, procedures and required documents.
- Develop and support continuous improvement activities to enhance the Quality Systems, using quality and continuous process improvement tools, including but not limited to Six Sigma, Kaizen lean methods, etc.
- Responsible for activities coordination of the investigators.
- Indirectly supervises the personnel for other areas, such as manufacturing, and product and process engineers assigned to analyze root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with different areas the need to open CAPA’s due to nonconformance detected and unfavorable trends as established in the procedures.
- Standardized/ consolidate investigations of different types of process / products deviations to ensure consistency among them, accurate classification of the non-conformance, as well as to ensure that proposed actions to accurate them do not contradict actions already implemented.
- Responsible for preparing and realization of the metrics reported at periodic meetings like Product Quality Data Review (PQDR/Indicators), Management Review boards (MRB), Local and Americas CAPA Review Board (CRB) of the CAPA/ NCR systems.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, pharmacy, industrial engineering or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of proven ability in quality or related areas.
- Experience in validation processes, manufacturing process of medical devices and implementation of projects.
- Experience in Investigations, CAPA, NCR or complaints.
- Bilingual.
