Purpose of the role

 

Reporting to the Assistant Manager (Revenue & Commissionaire), the purpose of the role is to perform Revenue & Commissionaire processes for a number of Baxter European entities.

 

Responsibilities:

·         Perform cash allocation as required and in accordance with agreed procedures;

·         Complete General Ledger and sub-ledger reconciliations in accordance with set policies;

·         Prepare VAT monthly reports, as directed;

·         Process transactions to the General Ledger;

·         Prepare general reporting for European entities as directed;

·         Actively support process improvement initiatives;

·         Other duties as assigned by manager

 

 

 Key Features of the Role

·         Additional hours required at critical times, for example, month-end.

·         Occasional Public Holiday and some weekend work.

Who you are:

 

·         Third level qualification in finance or accounting related discipline

·         Good knowledge of MS office suite, particularly Excel

·         Fluency in English

·         Customer focused

·         Self-starter

·         Team player

 

Desirable:

 

·         Working knowledge of information systems such as JD Edwards, SAP, Cognos, Insight

·         Fluency in or working knowledge of another European language
