Summary:
The Manager, Business Human Resources implements business strategy for the Mountain Home, AR facility. This position is responsible for the implementation of HR programs to support business needs in coordination with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Global Mfg. Operations HR.  This position reports to the Sr HR Director.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (these are primary responsibilities of the role and the incumbent will perform other duties as assigned):
  • Drives an effective reward and recognition strategy that reinforces the Best Place to Work culture and behaviors.
  • Implements measurement systems to determine the impact of HR programs.
  • Provides coaching and consultation on employee relations issues.
  • Proactively communicates HR policies, programs and employee information
  • Leads change management efforts in partnership with the Sr HR Manager
  • Supervises and mentors HR team members.
  • Working knowledge of Federal and State laws affecting the employment relationship.

 

Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Qualifications):
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum requirement 5 years HR experience, 2 in generalist role
  • Strong leadership and influence skills, and the ability to drive change.
  • Strong project management skills and results orientation.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Solid knowledge of HR strategies, practices and policies.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and HRIS applications.
 
Physical / Safety Requirements
  • Duties may require overtime work, including nights and weekends
  • Use of hands and fingers to manipulate office equipment is required
  • Position requires standing and walking  for extended periods of time
