  • Work closely with the NOC to provide escalated issue support per incident.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot all network related issues and provide timely, efficient and professional follow up to user questions or issues.
  • Perform escalations as required to service providers.
  • Perform device configurations, internal operating system upgrade, and software upgrades and deploy network devices/technologies including (but not limited to) Cisco routers (ISR4K, ASR1002) , switches (Cat3850,4500, 6800, N9K/7K/5K, VSS), wireless LAN controllers, WAVE, ISE, ASA, QoS, Palo Alto and F5 load balancers.
  • Assist in testing new Monitoring/Telemetry solution functionality.
  • Monitor network usage across all managed network devices
  • Maximize network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization
  • Perform relevant tasks in compliance with change management processes.
  • Knowledge of monitoring Open-Stack and software defined networks
  • Basic knowledge in Virtualization technology
  • Maintain operational integrity of network infrastructure. All changes are documented and deployed as prescribed by the Change Management process.
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for administration tasks
  • Interact effectively with internal stakeholders and other team members
  • Continuous improvement via self-learning, training, etc.
  • Participate in all levels of change management process
  • Provide Vendor’s support organizations remote secure access to Network to assist
  • troubleshooting activities
  • Required to be on call round the clock in case of emergency

  • Minimum 2 years’ working experience in NOC environment or Network Monitoring/Management Solutions
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse group of people
  • Self-starter, ability to work with minimal direct supervisions; takes ownership
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment and must be able to manage multiple requests at the same time
  • Strong team player; ability to lead peers in accomplishment of common goals
  • Basic knowledge in Scripting (Automation)
  • Experienced with any Open Source Monitoring and graphing tool software. (e.g. Shinken, Centreon, Zabbix, Cacti )
  • Familiar with the following protocols: HTTP: HTTPS, FTP, UDP, TCP/IP, SSH, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, MPLS-TE
  • Understanding and skills in routing, firewall, policy setup and enterprise network
  • Attention to detail and ability to develop and perform standard operating procedures
  • Proven crisis management skills, and the ability to excel under pressure
  • Good problem analysis and solving skills in troubleshooting and resolving cases or problems
  • Strong documentation skills--to be utilized for case management, knowledge capture and defect management
  • Experience supporting production services in a 24/7 environment
  • Intermediate / Advance skill set of Microsoft Office (Excel-Pivot Table) , Microsoft Visio-network diagram etc
  • Preferably with Cisco certification(s) (CCNP, CISSP Certification or any industry related certification)
  • ITIL Foundation V3
  • Familiar with ISA95
  • Strong initiative to learn and good multi-tasking capabilities
  • Meticulous, committed and self motivated with good interpersonal skills
  • Able to work individually or in a team
