The Job

Purpose of Role:

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the European Supply chain and Quality organization, with a focus on Supply Chain. This position will be a key member of the EMEA Finance OPS organization, (total oversight $+340M operating expense)

The jobholder will be responsible for the monthly financial reporting and review processes in the different areas in EMEA SC and Quality and will be also actively involved in Forecast and Budget processes.

The person will work closely with the members of the SC management team and also liaise with the European Planning and Reporting, Decision Support, and Regional Manufacturing Finance team, US Headquarters and build partnerships with the local country organizations as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for monthly financial reporting and review process : plan and run reviews with various stakeholders;  consolidate, analyze and communicate on results to Senior Management within both the Functions and Finance,

 

  • Coordinate the planning and forecasting processes, in charge of data consolidation and analysis, preparation of the presentation to EMEA and GLOBAL OPS Senior Management

 

  • Support day to day business and partner with various stakeholders to enforce control guidelines / mechanisms for the expense base. This includes implementation and maintenance of a clean cost center structure that facilitates expense reporting and analysis using JDE / Cognos tool sets , proper rebilling mechanisms as needed, etc.

 

  • Overhead spend reporting ( incl. PSM, P&D etc )

 

  • Provide Finance support for other Supply Chain/ EMEA ops initiatives as required. 

 

  
 
 
 
 
 

 

 

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 

 
 
 
 

Who you are:

 

Essential:

  • A minimum of 3 years Financial Analysis experience within a multinational environment

  • Good knowledge of financial statements (P&L, BS)

  • Strong systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving, and ability to manage complex situations

  • Hands-on approach, willingness to learn, high energy, self-starter (proactive)

  • Very good planning and organization skills

  • Ability to interact with people from different functions and cultural backgrounds (culturally flexible)

  • Ability to handle confidential data and to focus on detailed data / analysis as well as the “big picture”

  • Comfortable presenting financial information to and interacting with Senior management

  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management is a must

  • Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines

  • Demonstrated teamwork

  • Excellent communication skills, diplomatic, flexible and “can do” mind-set.

  • Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

     

Education

 

  • University degree/ Professional Degree in finance/accounting/business or equivalent

 

Additional requirements

  • Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required
  • Experience in JDE , Hyperion and Cognos an advantage
  • Additional hours at critical times (eg, month end) may be required. Also, and on an exceptional basis, the role may require Public Holiday, and weekends
