The job as Process QA Specialist at Baxter is a great opportunity to develop your professional career within our Quality team, based at Thetford. This role is responsible for:
Ensuring continuous compliance of plant operations to GMP, local procedural requirements and Corporate policies;
Supporting Production Lines by making QA decisions during batch manufacturing and ensuring GMP is adhered to at all times (it is expected that 50%+ of time will be spent in production areas);
Supporting Quality Engineering and Post Market Surveillance teams on the execution of timely investigations (e.g. NCR, customer complaints), as required;
Driving proactive identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities in Quality and Manufacturing operations;
Driving delivering product release targets, including ensuring timely investigation and batch disposition of any deviations with impact to product release using an Enterprise Management System approach;Do you want to learn more about our business? Who you are
You will have the following:
Degree in a Life science subject or equivalent.
Experience in the Medical device, Pharmaceutical or Biologics industry
Good communication skills (verbal, written, listening, influencing, report writing).
Knowledge of statistical techniques / sampling plans
Experience in the use of quality improvement and problem solving tools, and the interpretation of data.
Completion of Six Sigma process improvement training desirable
Examples of tools are Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (F.M.E.A.), Capability Studies, Process Mapping, Control Charts, Correlation and Regression, DMAIC, PDCA, etc.
