Key Responsibilities

-Provide exemplary compensation support to Business HR partners. Research/resolve issues/inquiries related to compensation plans (base, incentive, reward programs, etc.), processes/tools.

-Support global compensation processes, e.g. Baxter’s Annual Compensation Review, merit budgeting, and other projects and processes as necessary. Participate on special global/domestic projects in support of M&A activity and other, business-driven needs, etc.

-Conduct job evaluations. Work with Business HR/management to understand/define the role. Utilize tools/guidelines to evaluate jobs. Determine exemptions status, market range, and job alignment within Baxter’s Compensation Structure.

-Manage administration of all compensation plans/programs in partnership with HR Operations, HRIT and other stakeholders.

-Complete survey submissions /conduct analysis to study labor markets/salary trends used to establish Baxter’s budgets, pay rates, and other actions.

-Analyze survey data during annual market range/structure update processes to identify issues/ determine actions. Support and/or lead annual market range updates for the Americas, including US, Puerto Rico, Canada and Latin America, and ongoing job maintenance.

-Ensure that processes exist or are functioning as expected to support the integrity of compensation-related data in PeopleSoft and other HRIT portfolio applications. Ensure that Workday configuration supports compensation programs/policies.

-Work with global teams in support of all compensation plans and programs such as HR Operations, HRIT and other global stakeholders.

Key Experiences, Skills, and Education

-Span of knowledge – Strong knowledge of most areas of compensation/ incentive programs including policy design/implementation. Must be skilled in job analysis, market analysis and knowledgeable in local laws/regulations and labor markets/trends affecting compensation. Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus as well as experience working with sales and incentive plans.

- Analytical skills - Strong analytical skills using both qualitative/quantitative data.

- Experience with relevant analytical tools (strong focus on spreadsheet applications).
- Workday experience is preferred. Fluency in Spanish is desired.

- Requires a Bachelor’s degree or country equivalent plus 3 - 5 years of compensation experience.
