The Job

 

Purpose of Role:

 

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Manufacturing Planning & Reporting Team. The jobholder will be responsible for the monthly financial reporting and analysis for EMEA International and RENAL Operations Plants, and will be also actively involved in Forecast and Budget processes. In addition, the jobholder will support Plants Controllers in term of reporting tools and processes.

 

The person will work with various Teams (Plant & Group Controllers, Finance Operations Director, Purchasing and Supplier Management and Global Manufacturing Finance) located in different Regions and Countries ( EMEA, US and LATAM). 

 

Key Responsibilities

 
  • Publish EMEA and RENAL Operations monthly, forecast and budget results.

  • Prepare presentations to support Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Operating Reviews. In scope: Manufacturing variations, and Profit and Loss.

  • Support Purchasing & Supplier Management Team in the month-end results reporting: update PPV Cognos cube (*Price Purchase Variance) with actuals transaction details, and prepare **IRV Report (Inventory Rate Variance)

  • Responsible for Forecast & Budget data consolidation and analysis.

  • Gain expertise in Manufacturing reporting tools and processes (e.g. Cognos, Essbase) in order to play support effectively plant controllers, and deliver training for new team members.

  • Provide Manufacturing Senior Management with ad-hoc financial analysis, or support on specific projects.

  • Update process flows, operating manuals, training guides, and standard operating procedures as needed.

  • Support Finance leadership with process improvement, policy development, and / or strategic initiatives (e.g., business systems, processes, and / or policies).

     

     

  • Who you are:
     
    Essential:
    • Demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications and typically 4 + years of relevant experience with financial planning and reporting
    • Ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
    • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of management is a must
    • A systematic and analytical approach to problem-solving, and ability to manage complex situations
    • Strong technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of: internal control requirements and accounting principles as well as understanding of relevant business environment
    • Knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, and Cognos preferred
    • Self-starter with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities
    • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills
    • Strong Power Point and Excel skills
    • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, often cross-functionally
     
    Education
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or part qualified ACCA/CIMA
       
    Additional Requirements
    • Ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as required
    • English: Native or bilingual proficiency required
    • French, German: Professional proficiency a plus
    • Additional hours at critical times (eg, month end) may be required. Also, and on an exceptional basis, the role may require Public Holiday, and weekends
