    The Job:
    Purpose of the Role
    Reporting to the Head of PMO and Operational Excellence, the purpose of the role is to provide the knowledge and expertise across a number of initiatives, including continuous process improvement and delivering projects.
     
    Responsibilities:
    • Advise the project team about the downstream impact of decisions and directions proposed;
    • Managing project deadlines and demonstrating commitment to relevant forums, projects and business developments;
    • Liaising with Baxter teams to define as-is and to-be business process and systems when required;
    • Develop business requirements documents for global applications and conduct fit-gap analysis for potential solutions;
    • Representing the business in reviews of process and system controls, and the development of project schedules taking into account seasonal volume spikes, period close activities;
    • Actively participate in data validation activities prior to system conversions;
    • Coordinating user acceptance test activities including scheduling resources, and creating and executing use cases; 
     Key Feature of the Role
    At certain times, such as preparing for month end, quarter-end etc, the job holder will be required to work additional hours. This may include working during weekends and on bank holidays.
Who you are
Essential:
  • Third-Level qualification (e.g. Degree or Diploma), preferably in an accounting-related discipline;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including process documentation and presentation skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels within an organisation;
  • Outstanding attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to deal with ambiguity and work independently;
  • Advanced system knowledge to include JDE,HFM, smartview, insight;
     
Desirable:
  • Project Management Skills;
  • Experience of working in SSC and/or accounting environment
  • Understanding of systems from other streams in organisation;
