The responsibilities of a Finance Analyst play an important role in the efforts of the Corporate Tax Department to fulfil its responsibilities to review, understand and validate the tax accounting of Baxter legal entities in Europe. The role will mainly be involved in ensuring the accuracy of tax reporting of tax. The role will be responsible for the review and control of the tax aspects of his/her assigned countries/entities and also participate in various special projects in Baxter's Europe and across all European operations.
The Jobholder will be required to:
· Ensure compliance with various US and international tax laws and reporting requirements with emphasis on smaller entities and application of technical judgment.
· Perform accounting analysis and reconciliation for use in tax return filing, forecasting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, including ownership of specific SOX processes.
· Analyze propriety of tax liabilities for financial reporting and forecasting purposes.
· Analyze tax exposure for identified items under various sections of the US and international tax law.
Who You Are:
Have a qualification in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Have 1-2 years of work experience in a finance position.
Having experience on working on tax is considered as an advantage.
Have an interest to continue to develop in Corporate Tax.
Have the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
