The Job:
 
Purpose of Role:  Reporting to the P2P operations manager PSM with a strong dotted line to the GPO, this purpose of this role is to lead the rollout of the new Baxter supplier management tool.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
 
Cleansing:
1.  IT to complete using SQL
 
2. Operational “Scrubbing” to include
 
  • Winding down records
  • Create items in other tools i.e. Coupa, Ariba, Quality Trackwise, MILD, WISE;
 
3. Ensuring KPI’s are met on Data Quality, based on BSM output
 
Data Quality:
Running metrics to see trends in percentage of suppliers
  • with valid email for AP remit
  • with DPO payment terms
  • within Coupa, MILD, WISE etc.
 
BSM Project work:
  • Data quality Maintenance, Governance Execution and updating ( i.e. SEPA project or any project impacting vendor records)
 
Coupa Invoicing – Supplier On-boarding:
  • Strive to ensure P2P contactless invoicing goals are met by targeting suppliers Coupa driven by Annual Spend V D&B Analytics
 
Contracting (Contract Life Cycle)
  • Ensure full end to end supplier lifecycle is completed by information gained from cleansing tool
 
G2B:
  • Liaise with IT team for scrubbing data on new implementations ( Bulk uploads  e.g. Elstree/Heichingen 2017/2018
 
Issue resolution/Escalation:
  • Troubleshoot for root cause issues – BSM/Data Interfaces/ human error etc.
  • Access and review BSM data on various auxiliary tools
 
Process Improvement:
Continually strive to identify improvements in order to:
 
  • Reduce invoice processing cycle time
  • Improve customer service experience/ being point of contact for all queries and escalations
  • Decrease processing time for ERP changes

Qualifications

 

Who you are:


 

Essential:

  • Minimum of 5 years +  in a  Data Management role/AP/P2P role

  • Strong Business Analytical skills

  • Excellent Technical Skills

  • Strong Customer Service Focus and high attention to detail

  • Proven track record in identifying and implementing areas for improvements

  • Ability to work well under pressure with a well-developed sense of urgency and follow through

  • Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with co-workers and peers as well as internal and external customers

  • Initiative to take on additional responsibilities which will ultimately benefit the VDM team

  • Functional knowledge of the end to end Procure to Pay process

  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), facilitation and interpersonal skills

  • Strong competence in developing presentations (MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel))

  • Highly motivated and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high energy and demanding team-oriented environment

  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting;

  • Fluency in English 
     

Desirable:

  • Six Sigma Green belt or Lean methodology.

  • Working knowledge of information systems such as Ideally familiar with either Coupa, Ariba, MILD, WISE etc

  • Third level education Business/Accounting/Technical

  • European Language written and spoken

  • Project Manager Qualification

Key Features of the Role

  • This role will may require international travel to visit key stakeholders to ensure Global process and policy  alignment.
