About the Baxter Strategy Team
Baxter’s Global Business Strategy Team is a fast-paced, high-impact team focused on top priority initiatives to increase the company’s growth and profitability across our current global portfolio.
The Digital Health group works directly with the senior leaders of our Global Businesses Units and regions to identify innovative opportunities in the digital space, and develop long- and short- term strategies aimed at transforming the future of the company.  The Digital Health team then partners with the various GBUs to develop and execute digital projects. 
Critical Responsibilities
  • Work with GBU leaders to identify needs and corresponding opportunities to leverage the transformational potential of digital health in their business, and across Baxter
  • Identify, develop, and explore external partnerships
  • Scope and plan digital projects.
  • Lead the execution and evaluation of projects. Act as team leader across cross functional core teams
  • Track trends and gaps in the digital health space to inform Baxter’s overall strategy and vision
  • Lead a variety of high priority strategy projects; these projects typically involved problem framing, primary and/or secondary research, and management/facilitation of cross-functional teams across the organization
  • Assessment of commercial /functional opportunities to identify potential areas for revenue growth and margin improvement
  • Review of alternative business models for digital to help significantly reduce costs and/or increase revenue
  • Facilitation of senior leadership dialogue on program priorities, alternatives and necessary tradeoffs
  • Identification of key risks to achieving program goals/development of mitigation plans
  • Ability to travel globally

  • Broad skills and number of years of experiences in managing projects
  • Proven track record of successfully managing cross functional teams outside direct reporting control is a must
  • MedTech and/or healthcare industry or Technology Industry experience required
  • BS/BA; Master’s degree preferred
  • Must have experience in the technology or health IT/Digital Health space
