  • Design and verify analog and digital electronic circuits for micro-controller based system. 
  • Design device hardware specifications based on customer or user requirements.
  • Develop electrical designs to meet all of the specifications and parameters as per the design specifications.
  • Participate in design reviews.
  • Design of electronic circuits for micro-controller based electro-mechanical medical devices.
  • Design of motor controls and associated circuits.
  • Design of sensing systems and associated circuits required for sensor operation.
  • Verification of circuit designs through the use of CAE simulation tools, test equipment and data analysis as needed.
  • Documentation of the designs and all procedures and data from tests related to the design.
  • Circuit analysis, test, and trouble-shooting.
  • Designs to meet FDA, ISO and/or other specified design requirements.



  • Strong background in computers, math, design and physics.
  • Detail-oriented and able to think critically about possible solutions to problems.
  • Ability to work in groups with other engineers.
  • Electro-mechanical experience in the area of control circuits and component specification is desired.  Familiarity with FDA and/or ISO-9000 design requirements is desired.
  • Prefer experience with TQM methods (e.g. "six sigma")
  • Display a solid technical understanding of engineering principles and procedures (e.g. CAD and its application or scheduling a series of technical tasks utilizing software-based tools.
  • Understand and articulate how own role ties within function or discipline
  • Demonstration application of engineering principles on individual/small projects
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3-5 years related experience.
