The Technical Services Manager will provide technical engineering input and solutions to issues associated with automated equipment and associated utility and building services. Project work to include the management: scope, design, validation and commissioning of turn- key projects.
Work to deliver Lean manufacturing processes: to include evaluation and introduction of automated systems for both existing and new concepts.
The Technical Services Manager will function as a dual site role working in Deansgrange and Sandyford compounding units.
- Provide visibility on Technical Services activities and Projects to Baxter leadership team.
- Lead and manage the Technical Services team performance via oversight of their day to day and project activities.
- Implement continuous improvement and development of Technical/Engineering systems and procedures.
- Project execution and planning.
Comply with EHS/GMP/GDP/company and corporate policies and external regulatory requirements
Management of facilities service contracts for critical and non- critical systems
Form close relationships with the EMEA technical services team, sharing best practice, key contacts and expertise
Manage and control of day to day needs and requirements of each compounding unit with respect to facility related issues, prioritizing and scheduling works to fit in with production needs, at a hands-on level when required.
Responsible for project program from design through construction and commissioning, management of project risk, resources and cost control, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget and to the required standards and regulations.
Act as a liaison between stakeholders, designer and construction companies to ensure good communication of all activities.
Bring together technical process inputs from Baxter to find best design proposal meeting all requirements.
Develop and regularly update detailed project plans for capital projects and general facility work programs
Produce monthly update of plan to include delays and opportunities to recover.
Preparation and compiling detailed User Requirement Specifications for modification of existing infrastructure and processes to new concepts
