Business Unit Manager - Advanced Surgery

Accountable for the Advanced Surgery Business Unit. Responsible for sales, profit and Avg. Working Capital. Develops and delivers the marketing and sales programs to achieve the overall strategic business plan and annual operating plan. Develops and delivers value proposition for gaining customer loyalty.
Leads a team of marketers and sales managers. Responsibilities include: management and execution of sales and marketing planning process; owner of market analytics process including key market trends, and competitive intelligence; operational processes for forecast accuracy, opportunity/demand management & inventory; relationship strategies with key opinion leaders, patient advocacy/customer associations and channel partners; accountable for commercialization of pipeline including clinical development, reimbursement and market adoption.
Serves as lead Canadian franchise advocate and liaison with Global and Regional franchise counterparts. Integrates and executes commercialization of new business opportunities from Global or local teams. Member of the US/CAN and HPLT - CAN Leadership Teams.
Responsible for achieving P&L, and AWC commitments (annual plan and LRP).
Lead the development of strategic and market planning processes. Coordinate inputs and efforts of marketing, sales, medical affairs and other support functions. Oversee development of product/therapy marketing plans, and translation into sales plans. Develop and foster relationships with key customers. Assures competitive intelligence and market insights processes continuously feed business planning and strategies.
Talent Management: Leads and achieves objectives through others. Coach and develop staff, drive increased productivity while motivating employees.
