The Medical Operations Support Associate (Contracts Associate) is responsible for drafting, negotiating, leading, coordinating and managing low to medium complexity medical contracts. Position is accountable for timely milestone completion and short-term initiatives in support of contract timelines and goals. Analyze and develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques and standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Position will draft, review and negotiate medical contract terms and conditions while adhering to all applicable Baxter policies.
Participate in all contract project meetings from inception to close out, providing advice on contract process, status and timelines.
Partner with Legal, Business Units, and other functional groups to resolve issues in a timely manner and provide guidance on moderately complex contract situations.
Continually seek and suggest innovative and more efficient ways to carry out duties
Demonstrate and incorporate Baxter competencies in executing responsibilities
Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills

Detail oriented. This position requires the ability to identify problems, determine accuracy and relevance of information, and use sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives and make recommendations.
Proficiency in various standard computer software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Education and/or Experience:
BS/BA preferred and/or minimum 1-3 years of experience in medical contracts, medical device or pharmaceutical companies.
