Job Description
This position is responsible for the functional support of the Global JDE 8.12 system in Sales and Distribution modules. Participate in and contribute to analysis, design and value addition activities in system and its related process improvements, JDE integrations and/or system upgrades. Perform assigned tasks with minimal guidance, demonstrate basic business knowledge, resolve complex problems, and have strong knowledge of SDLC.
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Understanding of Business processes articulation of it and understand the JDE relevance to it is essential.
  • Troubleshoot JDE Finance and work with SMEs and Business to fix the root cause
  • Create/update documents for support activities with respect to business processes
  • Ability to understand the capabilities and limitations of the Sales, Procurement, Inventory, Transportation and Advanced Pricing modules
  • Validate the design and other details with the stakeholders to ensure that the design satisfies the requirements.
  • Ability to develop functional specifications
  • Should understand the integration between S & D and other modules of JDE
  • Ability to develop functional specifications
  • Ability to configure data and create test cases
  • Collaborate with development and testing teams
  • Understand the integration between JDE and other ERPs
  • Data correction in case of data corruption, missing records, incorrect data, job failures through change control request
  • Update the process change and other related information in SMTDs, SOPs and Job Monitoring handbook. Create SOPs where ever required
  • Analyze Control M or other System Notifications, update stakeholders and come up with workarounds/solutions


  • Engineering Graduate / Masters in Computer Science/ MCA/ MBA
  • 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in JDE Finance
  • Experience in JDE versions on support implementation and upgrade landscapes
  • Experience in working in JDE releases Xe to 9.2
  • Oracle JDE certification (added advantage)
