As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for several tasks associated with aseptic compounding in the company’s grade A isolator environment in accordance with Standard Operating Practices overseen by the Quality Department. You will be working on orders submitted by hospital pharmacists to the units in Sandyford and Deansgrange.
Manufacturing chemotherapy, total parenteral nutrition (TPN) and antibiotic pharmaceuticals in a clean room environment using barrier isolator technology.
Operation of gas sterilization units for the sterilization of isolators.
Environmental monitoring of the clean-room facility.
Assisting in process and equipment validation in accordance with procedures and regulations.
Observation and active promotion of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Liaising with customer service and warehousing on goods inwards and delivery related issues.
CIVAS worksheet, label generation and checking.
Stock maintenance in Grade D preparation areas.
Liaising with the quality department on quality-related issues, including maintaining and development of GMP within the manufacturing area.
Diploma or Degree in Science or a healthcare-related discipline.
Previous experience in a GMP healthcare production environment or experience of aseptic pharmaceutical production gained in a hospital or industrial setting.
Proven ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
