Assist Baxter with administration and communications related to our various analytic platforms. Administrative responsibilities will include primary technical leadership for IBM Planning Analytics administration and architecture, as well as system administration support for Cognos Analytics and other analytic platforms. Become a team member on this highly visible, global key initiative.
Architectural and administrative ownership of IBM Planning Analytics (Cognos TM1) platform to ensure optimal platform stability & performance. Includes: installation, configuration, monitoring, security, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, platform demand forecasting and capacity planning.
Architectural and administrative support for Cognos Analytics platform.
- Architectural and administrative support for Cognos-related tools, such as Motio CI and BSP Metamanager.
- Write PowerShell scripts to tune, run, upgrade, backup, bring up/down systems
- Provide direction, governance and documentation to our support team as well as our internal customer base.
- Create and maintain administration, policy, support, change control and best practices documentation. Develop project plans and time estimates for tasks in a project.
Participate with the business or function in strategic, long-range planning for new or existing systems and technologies.
Key Experiences & Attributes
1+ years of IBM Planning Analytics (Cognos TM1) administration experience (version 10.1.1 or higher) OR Planning Analytics development experience required.
4+ years of experience with Cognos BI, Cognos Analytics +/or Planning Analytics as a developer or administrator.
Preferred: Cognos Analytics development +/or administration experience.
Solid understanding of BI functionality and web-tier architectures.
Ability to coordinate and aggressively follow up on incidents and problems, perform diagnosis, and provide resolution to minimize service interruption
Excellent written/ verbal communications and critical thinking skills a must.
Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
