The Sr. Manager, Global Learning Center would oversee the Global Learning Center to organize resources, set operations goals in line with business objectives and deliver a best in class learner experience for the global organization.  They are responsible for the efficiency of the team as well as ensuring that each role is being properly resourced. They should monitor the progress of ticket completion to drive against promised SLAs.
  • Provides oversight of team of 20+ learning professionals in support of global learning operations supporting all regions and functions.  Actively seeks to understand core business initiatives and translates those into everyday practice.
  • Monitor progress of learning queries to ensure SLAs are met appropriately.
  • Allocate and flex GLC team members based on incoming requests and actions needed along with GLC Leadership
  • Shapes the direction of the team, keeps them focused and motivated to deliver the right results.  Combines a cross functional business understanding with learning expertise for all decision making.
  • Deliver the learning operations strategy in alignment for the overall Global Learning Strategy & Roadmap
  • Develop service level and performance indicators to measure service, performance and ensure business expectations are met.
  • Build Strong relationships with the Learning Function by growing and nurturing strong partnerships across all regions and functional learning partners.
  • Improve processes and policies in support of organizational goals.  Formulate and implement departmental procedures to maximize output.  Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures
  • Own the Voice of Customer and take appropriate action to ensure customer satisfaction.  Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in order to escalate systemic problems or process gaps.
  • Ensure schedule adherence, workflow accuracy and team productivity goals are met and that administrative tasks are accurate and on time.
  • Hires, manages and develops high performing teams.  Identifies strengths of team members and actively develops and mentors.  Outlines training needs based on goals and developments the functional expertise of the team. Coach and address any performance related issues by GLC team members

  • Leadership – ability to influence at varying levels of the organizations.  Experience managing global processes and interacting with multi national/global organizations.
  • Operations Management and Process Improvement:  Knowledge of operations management and process improvement approaches, ability to manage competing priorities
  • Service Delivery:  Experience in outsourcing or offshoring operational services or managing outsourced services
  • Interpersonal Relationships:  Knowledge of techniques for working with individuals and teams in a constructive and collaborative manner
  • Project Management: Organizes work efforts by prioritizing tasks, using resources optimally, establishing appropriate deadlines and ensuring on-time delivery
  • Technology Management – experience with learning management systems and other learning technologies.
Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.
Undergraduate Degree required.  Must have at least 10+ years of experience of which at least 5 are in a learning leadership role. Post graduate degree in HR/Learning Preferred.
