Currently, we are seeking an Afternoon Shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm) Leading Hand Technician to work within our Manufacturing facility.
What You’ll Be Doing
The primary function of this role is to support the manufacturing operation within your respective department and provide daily communications associated with manufacturing processes to stakeholders. Co-ordinating the optimum quality and quantity of the output from the processes, performing machine adjustments and assisting with repairs on the machine in the event of a breakdown. Other key responsibilities of the role include; operating Kiefel heat seal machine and checking product quality.
QualificationsTo be considered for this role you must have the following:
- Previous experience within a highly-regulated manufacturing facility.
- A mechanical or electrical qualification is a MUST.
- RF (Radio Frequency) heat sealing/molding experience ESSENTIAL.
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
- Willing to be involved in, and work in a close team environment
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Proven ability to apply critical thinking to solve problems
- Reliable, punctual and flexible to work overtime if required
