Machine Operator - Weekend Shift

we are seeking Machine Operators for
our Manufacturing site at Old Toongabbie.
This 12-month, fixed term contract is a great opportunity for Engineering
students who are currently completing Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications
to gain experience within a healthcare manufacturing facility.
The primary function of a Machine Operator is to ensure optimum quality and quantity of the machine’s output and to ensure that machine downtime is kept to a minimum through basic machine maintenance. Other key responsibilities of the role will include; operating the machine, checking product quality, performing machine adjustments and assisting with repairs on the machine in the event of a breakdown.
You’ll earn above award remuneration and be provided with all the training required to be successful in this role. The ordinary hours of work are based on two weekend shifts of 12 hours’ duration each (either 11am -11pm or 11pm-11am).
• Mechanically and mathematically oriented, having completed Year 12 mathematics at a minimum
• Currently working towards completion of a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification
• Proven ability to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to be involved in, and work in a close team environment
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Proven ability to apply critical thinking to solve problems
• Reliable, punctual and flexible to work overtime if required
