The Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting Baxter’s pharmacy and homecare customers. Baxter provides these customers with healthcare products and critical therapies. In this role you will develop strong customer relationships with hospitals, the HSE and patients. You will be processing orders through mulitiple order entry systems, scheduling product for manufacture and delivery. Throughout this process you will be supporting the Sales team and liaise with compounding production, warehouse & distribution, logistics and finance.
  • Manage a high-volume workload within a deadline driven environment.
  • Prioritising and processing prescription orders for home patients/customers based on treatment requirements and capacity available within the manufacturing unit.
  • Maintain accurate and current customer information in the relevant order entry system.
  • Be the point of contact for MCC, hospital departments and home patients, handle their inquiries, complaints and financial queries.
  • Liaise with accounts receivable regarding billing, POD’s/order numbers, credits/debits if required.
  • Develop high level knowledge of Baxter homecare therapies and products.
  • Compliance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
