Responsible for the administration of the Safety, Security, Wellness, Industrial Hygiene and Health programs in the plant. Responsible for developing and carrying out procedures with the line organization that effectively control accident, property loss and health exposures in the company; minimize government citations and supervises security operations for the whole plant. This includes, but not limited to Health Department, Fire Department, Occupational Health and Safety Programs (OSHA), "Fondo del Seguro del Estado" and Police Department.
Qualifications for this role
- Knowledge in Federal and local laws & regulations (OSHA, EPA, OSHO)
- Strong communications skills.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Engineering or Science with Safety and/or Industrial Hygiene Certificates. 7+ years of professional safety and Industrial Hygiene experience in manufacturing industry. Minimum of three to five years of related experience.
