This position is responsible for providing Quality support and oversight to the outside vendor for the complaint handling and/or regulatory reporting transactional work, as well as identifying, assessing, and working to correct large scope regulatory and quality risks.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing oversight of activities and monitoring compliance and contractual obligations related to complaint handling and regulatory reporting
  • Monitoring results of quality reviews
  • Serving as a Subject Matter Expert
  • Providing training and coaching
  • Participating in resolution of escalated issues and risks
  • Partnering with the Vendor on process improvement initiatives
  • Participating in and/or lead large scope projects, including multiple site projects.
  • Creating and/or analyzing operations metrics and reports to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Leading and/or participating in cross functional continuous improvement activities and projects, including NCRs/CAPAs
  • Developing plans to investigate identified risks and implement corrective action plans, as assigned.
  • Writing, reviewing, analyzing, and revising written Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed.
  • May interface with regulatory agents or internal auditors
  • May perform other Postmarket activities as assigned

Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree (Science or Engineering preferred)
  • 5-8 years of experience in Quality, or related field in the medical products industry
  • 2-3 years of experience in auditing techniques, interpreting regulations and quality system helpful.
  • Experience with driving process improvement initiatives and projects
