Description


The Group Marketing Manager will lead and develop specific programs and tools that demonstrate the higher value that Baxter BioSurgery Hemostat/Sealant Products deliver. Specifically but not limited to: Product Utilization Calculators; Outcome Based Product Calculators; unbranded presentations that speak to relevant healthcare trends and topics; customer facing app tools that enable end customers to assess value by using Baxter Advanced Surgery Products


  • Closely coordinate with Baxter Advanced Surgery Market Access team regarding development of value added programs as well as the strategic implementation of programs at specific health systems. 
  • Develop Health System segmentation that will enable precise targeting to optimize opportunity.
  • Coordinate with Market Access and Medical Affairs to ensure tactical plans are in alignment with overarching Baxter Advanced Surgery strategy.
  • Develop economic buyer KOL network and execute programs and activities to help inform Baxter Health Economic strategy development.
  • The Group Marketing Manager will need to be able to effectively manage projects and work-cross functionally market access, sales team and sales leadership, global marketing, medical affairs, GPO-IDN directors, Market Access and finance
  • Solicit market research and apply to overall Health Economic and surgeon engagement strategies and tactics
  • Create, communicate and deliver the consistent communication of messages across the portfolio of programs .
  • Coordinate and lead the activities of others in developing programs.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Understanding of U.S. Hospital and Health System market dynamics.
  • Solid strategic planning abilities and business acumen.
  • Track record in leading projects and programs to successful completion.
  • Requires strong facilitation and communication skills as well as excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong background in assessing market trends, financial data, and customer needs to develop strategic plans to drive sales. 
  • Requires strong facilitation and communication skills as well as excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute communication plans, including messaging and branding campaigns geared toward health economic decision makers.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, creative problem solving are essential.
  • BS/BA required eight to ten years experience in marketing,
  • MBA strongly preferred. 
  • Experience in the area of Health economics in the medical device industry 
  • People management experience
  • Background in strategic planning and tactical execution of the plans
  • Experience in managing surgeon education programs and teams is beneficial
